Mass will be celebrated today after school in the chapel. All are welcome. Confession will be available in Fr. Patrick’s office A148 during both lunches. Mass tomorrow will be celebrated at 8:05am in the chapel.
Jaylinn Haywood broke a 48-year-old school record in the shot put with a throw of 56 feet, 9 inches. His performance surpassed the previous record of 55 feet, 9 inches, which had stood since 1978. Huge congratulations to Jaylinn on this historic and outstanding achievement!
All high school students are invited to join us for the Ascend Leadership Retreat, July 27-29, 2026, at the Archbishop Brunett Retreat Center in Federal Way. This retreat will help students discover their God-given gifts, grow in spiritual maturity and learn how to lead with integrity, compassion and purpose in their various communities. Campus Ministry highly recommends this camp for any student who is interested in serving in a leadership role for our school retreats: Frosh, SEARCH, or Sophomore Solidarity. The Youth Action Team Internship empowers female Catholic high school juniors and seniors to act for social change in their local communities. Through faith-based community organizing workshops, this internship builds interns’ confidence in their identities, nurtures unique leadership gifts, and teaches interns to strategically build movements for social change. More info can be found in the daily bulletin. Every student who applies is invited to interview. IPJC sends acceptance letters mid-July, and the program begins mid-September 2026 and runs through May 2027. This unique internship is a collaborative effort with other local Catholic high schools and is competitive. Applications are due June 5, 2026. Please see Dr. Farrell for more information.
The Congregation of Holy Cross hosts a 2-week summer seminary immersion experience at The University of Notre Dame from June 13 - 27, 2026. Any rising junior or senior male wondering about their call to the vocation of the priesthood and wants to earn college credit in Theology, should consider applying to this unique and immersive opportunity. This is an amazing 4-day overnight camp for high school males discerning God's call in their lives. Priests and seminarians from the Archdiocese of Seattle will provide participants the opportunity to: learn more about the priesthood and deepen their faith. Space is limited to 60 participants. CYO Summer Camps hires qualified individuals 16 and over to staff Camp Don Bosco and Camp Hamilton. Summer staff work in a variety of roles including cabin counselors, lifeguards, horseback riding staff, challenge course staff, kitchen staff, and more. If you’re looking for a job to make a difference while having fun, camp is for you. Grow in faith, learn new skills, and impact young people through camp. National Honor Society members, check your school email for important information about Thursday, May 21's officer election.
You must attend an informational meeting on either Friday, May 22 or Wednesday, May 27, at 8:15 during FOCUS in Room B-222.
The meeting will provide an overview of the course and explain the required summer homework assignment.

You can expect to hear details on spring activities, sports, global events, trending subjects, and a lot of senior exclusive topics. Make sure to pick up an issue of The Profile on May 27. You can find them at various locations around the school. You won’t want to miss out on the most exciting issue of the year!
Students who are signed up to take AP World history next year - current Freshman - can head to room B164 for a meeting on May 27th. There will be meeting options before and after school - before at 8:20am FOCUS time and after school at 2:35pm.
