Great job on doing your ISLE Presentations!. Thank you for sharing your stories with us, it was an inspiring day. If you presented on Wednesday, March 3rd, you can safely assume you met standard and have completed your ISLE commitment for graduation. Contact Mr. Wright if you have any questions. Thanks again and take care.
Join the newly formed Anti-Sexist Intersectional Feminism Club as they kick off Women's History month with a period drive for local women's shelter AND our school bathrooms. The club will be accepting donations of pads and tampons in the main entrance until Monday, March 8th. Finally, for your "Women in History" moment of the day! On this day in 1933, Frances Perkins was sworn in as the first Secretary of Labor and became the first woman to be a part of a presidential cabinet.
Due to COVID restrictions, our school photographer is not offering retake options for school photos. If you had your picture taken in the fall, that will be the one the yearbook uses. If you did not have your picture taken in the fall, you should have received an email earlier this week outlining instructions for submitting a photo directly to our yearbook publisher that we can use in creating this year's book. Please direct any questions to Kathleen Gurnard (gurnardk@kennedyhs.org).
1st Friday Adoration is this Friday, March 5. Fr. Jim will begin with Exposition at 7pm and conclude with Benediction at 8pm in the Kennedy Catholic Chapel. Students, faculty, and staff are welcome to sign up and come to campus where all Covid protocols will be followed. Due to distancing, we can only accommodate 20 people so please indicate number of people attending on the SignUpGenius - link found in daily announcements, eNews and on class Canvas pages. We look forward to praying with you.

The Kennedy Catholic Lenten Calendar includes unique ways to participate in Lenten activities related to Pray, Fast, Give. The digital version of the calendar and more Lent resources can be found on the Campus Ministry resource page or in all classrooms on campus. The calendar has links to several resources, donation site, and prayer suggestions.
During Lent this year, we are encouraging all students to donate $3 to our sister school in Cuernavaca, Mexico. For over a decade, Kennedy Catholic has fundraised each year to support paying the tuition of ten students. Students and families can donate directly through the Kennedy Catholic Venmo.
