Thanks to all who pitched in and came out to see the fall play, Emma, this year. For the first time ever, a gold (top) and silver (bottom) cast performed, offering more opportunities for students to participate. The ambitious undertaking paid off with an exciting weekend of five performances!

Lancer football appeared in the State quarterfinals for the first time since 2012. Click here for an excerpt from our feature on King 5 in November.

President Mike Prato traveled to South Korea, Vietnam, and the Philippines this November. He met with prospective students and their families on behalf of the Office of International Education.

Creative costumes, science experiments, festive treats and more - thank you to everyone who joined us for Little Lancers Trick-or-treat in October!

Congratulations to Lancer seniors Cece C., Ashley N., Natalie D., and Pearl M. on signing to play collegiate level athletics! We are extremely proud of these talented women and are excited to watch them play in the future.

The Parent Club's annual Father Daughter Dance was Halloween themed this year and dads and daughters alike had fun dressing up.

Mr. Cascio’s senior Current Issues classes recently had a guest speaker, Colonel Kevin McMahan from the Washington State National Guard, who spoke about disaster preparedness. Col. McMahan is a principal advisor to the Washington State Homeland Security Advisor to the Governor and is responsible for the National Guard’s efforts to collaborate with local, state, federal and tribal leaders regarding emergency preparedness and response. Using a major quake (and the resulting tsunami) along the Cascadia subduction zone as an example, Col. McMahan led a discussion about possible challenges to our infrastructure and how the state would confront those challenges. He also spoke about families having supplies to last two weeks and gave students literature to help families prepare kits.

In late November, we celebrated an amazing fall season for Lancer student-athletes. Congratulations to the seniors (pictured) for a tremendous season and our girls’ varsity soccer team for receiving the highest team GPA, averaging 3.68.

Before Thanksgiving break, members of our student leadership took the time to thank all of those who are a part of the Lancer Family, extending their gratitude to staff, students, coaches and more. We are so grateful for the countless individuals who make up our wonderful Lancer Family!

International students saw their teacher, Stephen Barbarossa, perform (with a cast of forty-six talented actors and singers) in the musical Oliver! based on Charles Dickens’s novel Oliver Twist. It was a wonderful learning experience for some students who had never seen a play and perhaps even inspired them to pursue acting in the future.
