Hospitality House Charity Drive Sponsored By ASIF, Lady Lancers

Last week, two of our students clubs, the Anti-Sexist Intersectional Feminism Club and Lady Lancers held a charity drive for Hospitality House, a nonprofit organization in Burien that serves local women experiencing homelessness. They offer both health services and temporary housing. Kennedy Catholic High School donated four sets of pajamas, ten pairs of socks, five sports bras, and $80 in gift cards that were requested to raffle out at their weekly meetings. They also contributed seven rolls of paper towels, nine Clorox wipes, 35 packages of feminine products, and over 60 bottles of shampoo and conditioner. We also thank Mary's Place, a homeless shelter in Seattle, for their donations, and to the grandfather of one of our students, Dailey S. for his generous contribution.

A special note of gratitude goes to our two club moderators and teachers, Ms. Megan Graziose and Ms. Caroline Cacabelos for their leadership and influence.

We commend our students for getting involved in our community and for their advocacy for women's health. Thank you so much to all who donated!
