There are a multitude of helpful resources available on the work of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion. The best way to begin searching is to Google “DEI Resources,” ask your parish priest, or visit your local library online. Below we share with you a list of materials cultivated from our Faculty and Staff that they found helpful in their own educational journey, as well as some resources from Catholic sources. The materials are not part of our curriculum and in no way are intended to be an exhaustive list. They are merely recommendations our Team thought might be helpful to others.

If you have a resource that has been beneficial to you, please email us at info@kennedyhs.org

Resource of the Month

Support Our Asian Brothers and Sisters

In light of the violence and anger against our Asian and Pacific Islander brothers and sisters, we would like to offer a few ways to show support and solidarity.

  • Here is a link with resources and information regarding supporting our Asian and Pacific Islander communities against hate and racism.
  • Here is a link that helps stop the hate from taking place and what to do when you see/ experience it.

We also encourage everyone to continue to pray for kindness and understanding for all God's children.

Good and gracious God, Who loves and delights in all people, we stand in awe before You, knowing that the spark of life within each person on earth is the spark of your divine life.

Differences among cultures and races are multicolored manifestations of Your Light.

May our hearts and minds be open to celebrate similarities and differences among our sisters and brothers.

We place our hopes for racial harmony in our committed action and in Your Presence in our Neighbor.

May all peoples live in Peace.

Women's History Month

March is the time to celebrate the extraorindary journey of women through the decades and into the future.

This month’s we celebrate Women’s History Month. Last year was a momentous year as it was the centennial celebration of women winning the right to vote. On the Women’s History website, you will find exhibitions, collections, audio, video, and images of women’s contributions throughout American history. From the suffrage movement to building airplanes in WWII to becoming Vice President of the United States of America, women have made a remarkable difference. We can do it!
