Updates from Kennedy Catholic

Dear Lancer Families,

Today we celebrate May Crowning Mass - the day Catholics lay a crown of flowers on the head of our Blessed Mother to signify Her as the Queen of Heaven. Today is also Grandparent Day, the day Kennedy Catholic honors the special relationship between grandparents and grandchildren – a relationship which bring us joy and fill us with love. I will always hold dear the love my grandparents gave me. Their steadfast belief in me shaped me into the person I am today.

On behalf of Kennedy Catholic, we wish our Lancer Grandparents a very happy, healthy, and holy day.

This week I sent out an updated letter on our COVID-19 guidelines and protocols. If you missed it, you are still able to read the letter. Last night I also gave my first annual President's Message. I appreciate all of you who watched and those who sent in questions. I hope you are as excited as I am about the years ahead at Kennedy Catholic.

Gentle mother, gentle mother
Peaceful dove, peaceful dove
Teach us wisdom, teach us love

-From Hail Mary; Gentle Woman by Jon Niven

In Peace,

Matthew Mohs
