Transportation

Kennedy Catholic students have the option of using convenient school bus transportation. New ticket books will cost $100.00 and will be good for 20 rides ($5.00 per ride). Tickets are one-way only, so students will need two tickets for a round trip. Cash will not be accepted as payment from the student. If a student boards the bus without presenting a ride ticket, the driver will take their name and a $7.50 fee will be added to their account for each unpaid ride that has accrued. Bus Tickets can be picked up at the Main Office.  You must present a copy of your receipt when requesting your bus ticket.

You must register your student for transportation at the “Register HERE” link below.  Once you have registered, you and your child will automatically be added to ParentSquare and StudentSquare.  Once added to ParentSquare/StudentSquare, you will start receiving transportation notices based on your communication preferences. Parents/Guardians should have received an email with a code and instructions to set up a ParentSquare account.  If you have not received the notice, please email info@kennedyhs.org.  Students will be shown how to download and register for StudentSquare during Community Period.

Kennedy Catholic bus routes include:
Eastside/Renton Rainier, Federal Way, Kent/Auburn, and West Seattle.

If you have a student riding Kennedy Catholic bus transportation, please join Remind. What is Remind, and why is it safe? Remind is a free, safe and simple messaging tool used to facilitate the sharing of important updates and reminders.

*Kennedy Catholic is moving from Remind to ParentSquare. Please note that the first two weeks of school will be a transition period, and you may still receive occasional messages through Remind, especially from Athletics. After August 31, however, ALL messages will come through ParentSquare. To receive emergency messages and other important communications, it is very important that you sign up for ParentSquare. Parents/Guardians should have received an email with a code and instructions to set up a ParentSquare account. If you have not received the notice, please email info@kennedyhs.org.

King County Metro buses
Public bus transportation from Metro King County is close and convenient. Visit the their web site to see routes and current schedules.

Student Drivers
Students with a driver’s license may choose to drive themselves or carpool with other students. All students who drive to school must register and obtain a parking pass from the Campus Life/Attendance Office.
