Transportation

Kennedy Catholic students have the option of using convenient school bus transportation. In order to stay COVID-safe registration is required for Bus Transportation. Anyone who has previously registered their student must do so again, even if you have previously done so in order for your student to ride the school bus. We will implement a COVID-safe ticket book system instead of using our traditional punch ticket cards. The new ticket books will cost $100.00 and will be good for 20 rides ($5.00 per ride). Tickets are one-way only, so students will need two tickets for a round trip. Cash will not be accepted as payment from the student. If a student boards the bus without presenting a ride ticket, the driver will take their name and a $7.50 fee will be added to their account. Bus Tickets can be picked up at the Main Office.  You must present a copy of your receipt in order to get your bus ticket.

Kennedy Catholic bus routes include:
Renton/Rainier and Eastside, Federal Way, West Seattle, and Auburn/Kent.

If you have a student riding Kennedy Catholic bus transportation, please join Remind. What is Remind, and why is it safe? Remind is a free, safe and simple messaging tool used to facilitate the sharing of important updates and reminders.

King County Metro buses
Public bus transportation from Metro King County is close and convenient. Visit the their web site to see routes and current schedules.

Student Drivers
Students with a driver’s license may choose to drive themselves or carpool with other students. All students who drive to school must register and obtain a parking pass from the Campus Life/Attendance Office.

If you have any further questions, please contact the Transportation Manager, Frank Worsham. If you have a current punch ticket card, you can exchange it for the new detachable ticket book at the main office.
