Mentor Programs

LINK Crew

Link Crew is a high school transition program that welcomes freshmen and makes them feel comfortable throughout the first year of their high school experience. Built on the belief that students can help students succeed, this high school transition program trains mentors from our junior and senior classes to be Link Crew Leaders. As positive role models, Link Crew Leaders are mentors and student leaders who guide the freshmen to discover what it takes to be successful during the transition to high school and help facilitate freshman success.

Lancer Academy

Lancer Academy is a free supervised study period available Monday – Thursday in the school library one hour after school. Students use the time to complete homework and study and/or work quietly with group members on projects for classes. A Kennedy Catholic High School teacher supervises and assists students. Students have access to computers and reference materials in the library. For questions about Lancer Academy, speak to a school guidance counselor.

Math Lab

Math Lab is offered as part of Lancer Academy.  For specific support in all levels of math, students can work with a Kennedy Catholic math teacher.  Support is available Monday through Thursday from 2:45-3:30pm in the Red Lab.  For more information, please contact Christina Burnaby.
