Student Government

What is ASB (Associated Student Body)?

Associated Student Body officers, ASB coordinators, and staff design, organize, and carry out student activities such as assemblies, dances, and a variety of functions to promote school spirit and fellowship within the student body. Class officers serve as representatives of their class as a voice to the student body and to administrative team of Kennedy Catholic High School.

Senior class officers design, organize, and carryout Homecoming and Prom activities.
Junior class officers design, organize, and carryout the Christmas dance.
Sophomore and freshmen class officers work with Campus Ministry to design, organize, and carryout their class retreats.

In addition to these duties, Kennedy Catholic student leadership representatives meet quarterly, to discuss activities, exchange information and provide an opportunity for students to voice opinions or concerns to the school administrative team. All ASB and class officers represent Kennedy Catholic at a variety of functions throughout the school year, within and outside the Kennedy Catholic community.

Associated Student Body officers: president, vice-president, secretary and treasurer; ASB coordinators; senior, junior, sophomore, and freshmen class officers: president, vice president, secretary and treasurer; homeroom representatives.

Time Commitment

ASB officers commit to one week in the summer to attend the Washington State Principals Leadership Camp. All ASB staff meet on a daily basis to plan, design and implement student activities that meet the needs of the Kennedy Catholic student body to promote positive fellowship and school spirit.
