Freshman Retreat is all about celebrating our freshmen and welcoming them into the Lancer Family.

Thank you to the many student and staff volunteers who made this day a success!

Each year the freshman class comes together for two days filled with service, faith and exciting group activities. This year’s Freshman Retreat proved to be one of the best yet!

In preparation for the retreat, head student leaders select a movie as their theme. This year’s theme, The Incredibles, was based on Sirach 6:14-16, "Faithful friends are a sturdy shelter; whoever finds one finds a treasure. Faithful friends are beyond price, no amount can balance their worth. Faithful friends are life-saving medicine."

Students started out the first day getting to know one another in small groups, and ended the night with dinner, an ice cream bar, games and lots of dancing in the gym. The next morning they all returned to campus and spent the day serving with EarthCorps; helping keep local community parks and forests healthy through restoration. To close out the amazing retreat, students returned to campus where they gathered with their friends, both new and old, and families in the gym for the traditional closing Mass and ceremony.

To help capture the moment, Senior Leader, Minh N. put together this video!
