Rejoice always. Pray without ceasing. In all circumstances give thanks, for this is the will of God for you in Christ Jesus.

- Thessalonians 5:16-24

In the world of COVID-19, it is so very hard for us to continue to rejoice, give thanks, and continue to pray mercifully. However, I have never been more thankful than I am today. I am thankful to have more time to spend with my family, especially with my daughters who are young adults. I feel Christ’s love through my time spent with them.

I am thankful for the life before me and the life I have already lived. It is easy to allow the evil around us to consume us, and if we allow it will do just that. So in this season of advent may we all radiate joy, seek out the good and be the light for one another.
