Sports Performance and Wellness

The Sports Performance & Wellness Department exists to support the whole athlete—physically, mentally, and emotionally—by placing student well-being at the center of every decision we make. Rooted in collaboration, communication, and compassionate care, our department is committed to helping student-athletes thrive not only in competition, but in lifelong health and success.

The department is comprised of two fully integrated programs—Strength & Conditioning and Athletic Training—that work together to support athlete development, performance, and safety.

Strength & Conditioning - Focuses on building physical capacity, movement quality, and resilience through age-appropriate, evidence-based training.

Athletic Training - Provides injury prevention, evaluation, treatment, and return-to-play support to ensure athletes remain healthy and safe throughout the year.

Together, these programs operate under a shared philosophy: developing strong, healthy, and confident student-athletes while prioritizing long-term well-being.

Working closely with the Athletic Department, coaches, and school leadership, we provide coordinated, year-round support for all teams—both in-season and out-of-season. Through intentional planning, shared goals, and consistent communication, we strive to meet the diverse needs of Kennedy Catholic athletes while fostering a culture of accountability, resilience, and excellence.
