Summer Program

Updated 5/6/20:

After careful consideration, we have come to the difficult decision to cancel our much-anticipated Lancer Athletics Summer Camps due to the continued presence of COVID-19 in our community.

Our leadership team held out hope that some form of modified youth activities could be held on campus this summer, however the most recent projections for reopening recreational activities and sports just makes it too difficult for us to plan and prepare as needed to ensure a quality, safe, and fun experience for all.

Behind the expertise of our Youth Program Coordinator, Harley Wells-Schultz, and members of the Lancer Athletics coaching staff, we were excited to launch a full summer worth of programming for area youth and future Lancers alike. The decision to cancel now allows that team the ability to begin planning for new opportunities that could launch as early as August if our community continues to move forward in Governor Inslee’s “Safe Start Washington” plan. We are also hopeful that this early cancellation allows you the opportunity to explore other options for your child and family.

Full refunds will be issued back to the cards that were used to process initial registrations and should be completed in the next 72 hours. If you have any questions, please e-mail Harley Wells-Schultz at

Kennedy Catholic High School offers a series of fun and exciting Lancer Athletics summer camps. All camps will be led by Kennedy Catholic head coaches, staff members, and current student-athletes. Participants will have the opportunity to learn from award-winning high school coaches and be mentored by some of the best and brightest student-athletes at Kennedy Catholic High School. Camps are open for all skill and ability levels.

Interested in learning a bit about the 'why' behind this ambitious new schedule? Don Hoffman, our athletic director, discussed the topic in his most recent blog post. You can read that and more in the most recent edition of Communi-K.

General camp framework:

  • Camps run Monday-Thursday, three hours per day (with the exception of our new Speed & Agility Fridays).
  • Camps are for youth entering grades 3-8 in the 2020-2021 school year.
  • Camps will be broken up by age and gender where possible. See registration form for specifics.
  • A registration fee of $80/camp will be charged at the time of registration.

Youth registering for same-week indoor and outdoor camps will have access to a supervised place to eat lunch and rest (campers responsible for bringing their own lunch).
