Boys Water Polo
Congratulations to the 2018 team on their league championship and 8th place finish in State!
The first official day of boys water polo and the rest of our fall sports is Monday, August 26. Online registration is now open and is required in advance of the first day of practice. Boys water polo will offer one level of play (varsity) and cuts may be made based on participation numbers.
Practices will take place at the Tukwila Pool, Monday through Thursday from 8-9:30pm. Due to the time of practices, transportation will not be provided.
Boys Water Polo competes in the Puget Sound - East Division, with other schools from the NPSL. Games schedules will be posted online through NPSLathletics.org.

Ken Alfonso was selected to become the school’s inaugural boys water polo head coach. In his first year at the helm in 2017, he led the Lancers to a playoff berth with a team consisting of only one senior. Then, in just the program's second season, he helped them to a league championship and 8th place finish in State!
Alfonso also serves as the head water polo and swim coach for the Olympic View Swim Club in Normandy Park, having been there since 2011.He brings with him more than thirteen years of water polo head coaching experience at the youth, high school and USA Olympic Development levels in both California and Washington.
A former high school English teacher and graduate of California Polytechnic State University, Alfonso now works in the financial services industry and lives in the Burien area with his wife and children.
