Boys Water Polo
Kennedy Catholic High School is excited to announce the launch of boys water polo as a fall sport beginning in the 2017 school year! The Lancers will participate in the Puget Sound - East division with other members of the current NPSL.
The first official day of 2017 fall sports is Monday, August 21. Fall sports registration is now open and registration is required prior to turning out for practice. Boys water polo will offer one level of play (varsity) and cuts may be made based on participation numbers.
Practices will take place at the Tukwila Pool, Monday through Thursday from 8-9:30pm. Due to the time of practices, transportation will not be provided.
Games schedules will be posted online through NPSLathletics.org.

Ken Alfonso was selected to become the school’s inaugural boys water polo head coach.
Alfonso also serves as the head water polo and swim coach for the Olympic View Swim Club in Normandy Park, having been there since 2011.He brings with him more than thirteen years of water polo head coaching experience at the youth, high school and USA Olympic Development levels in both California and Washington.
A former high school English teacher and graduate of California Polytechnic State University, Alfonso now works in the financial services industry and lives in the Burien area with his wife and children.
