The first day spring sports, which includes fastpitch, is February 25, 2019. All interested participants much have a completed online registration and have a current physical on file with the athletic office prior to the first day of the season. For information on voluntary pre-season workouts, contact Frank Scandiffio, head coach at email@example.com.
In 2019 Kennedy Catholic fastpitch program will offer two levels of play, varsity and junior varsity (numbers pending). Cuts will be made as determined by the number of interested student-athletes.
Tryout and practice schedules will be posted here once they are made public. Other important dates to know:
- January 25, 2019: Registration opens
- February 25, 2019: 1st day of Spring Sports
- March 4, 2019: Media Day (3-5pm) and Spring Sports Parent Night (6-7:30pm)
- April 22-26: Spring Break. League contests may be held throughout the week.
- May 28, 2019: Spring Sports Banquet (7-9pm)
NEW THIS YEAR: Practices and varsity contests will be played at the new Steve Cox Memorial Park turf fields! JV games and other select contests will still be played at Chelsea Park (weather permitting).
Games schedules will be posted online through NPSLathletics.org. Practice schedules will be released to the team when available.

Frank Scandiffio '84, is entering his first season as the Lancers head fastpitch coach. He began his coaching career in 2007 and has since held head coach and leadership roles across South Highline, PacWest Little Leagues and with the Seattle Spice club program. He is widely known as a tactician with a gift for teaching the fundamentals of the game in a fun, energetic and approachable way.
Together with his wife Nicki, they have two daughters, Hanna and Natasha '16, who are products of both St. Francis of Assisi and Kennedy Catholic High School.
