The first day spring sports, which includes track & field, is February 25, 2019. All interested participants much have a completed online registration and have a current physical on file with the athletic office prior to the first day of the season. For information on voluntary pre-season workouts, contact Kevin Jackson, head coach at email@example.com.
In 2019 Kennedy Catholic track & field program is a non-cut sport, however student-athletes may be removed fro the team based on attendance or attitude issues.
Tryout and practice schedules will be posted here once they are made public. Other important dates to know:
- January 25, 2019: Registration opens
- February 25, 2019: 1st day of Spring Sports
- March 4, 2019: Media Day (3-5pm) and Spring Sports Parent Night (6-7:30pm)
- May 28, 2019: Spring Sports Banquet (7-9pm)

Kevin JacksonHead Coach
Jackson was began working as the head track and field coach at Kennedy Catholic in 2017. Prior, he served as the head track coach at The Northwest School (1A) since 2013, where he developed elite-level athletes and helped secure four individual WIAA state championships in 2016. He was named Emerald City League Coach of the Year in 2015.
Jackson is a USA Track & Field (USATF) Level 2 Certified Coach and a voting member of the USATF Pacific Northwest Track and Field Association. He also heads up the Auburn Elite Track Club which trains athletes ages 6-18 to compete in the collegiate indoor season and the USATF Junior Olympics outdoor circuit.
