The first day spring sports, which includes baseball, is February 25, 2019. All interested participants much have a completed online registration and have a current physical on file with the athletic office prior to the first day of the season. For information on voluntary pre-season workouts, contact Dale Dolejsi, head coach at dolejsid@kennedyhs.org.

In 2019 Kennedy Catholic baseball program will offer two levels of play, varsity and junior varsity. Cuts will be made as determined by the number of interested student-athletes.

Tryout and practice schedules will be posted here once they are made public. Other important dates to know:

  • January 25, 2019: Registration opens
  • February 25, 2019: 1st day of Spring Sports
  • March 4, 2019: Media Day (3-5pm) and Spring Sports Parent Night (6-7:30pm)
  • April 22-26: Spring Break. League contests may be held throughout the week.
  • May 28, 2019: Spring Sports Banquet (7-9pm)

Games schedules will be posted online through NPSLathletics.org. Practice schedules will be released to the team when available.

  • Dale Dolejsi
    Boys Varsity Baseball Coach

    Mr. Dale Dolejsi graduated from Lindbergh High School and was drafted by the Cleveland Indians. He went on to attend Edmonds Community College and University of the Pacific, where he pitched in the Big West Conference for two years. He was drafted by the Detroit Tigers and played two seasons in the Tiger minor league system.

    Dolejsi just completed his fifth season as head coach of the Kennedy Catholic baseball program. As head coach, he has led the Lancer baseball team to three Seamount League Championships and was recognized as the 2016 Star Times (Seattle Times) coach of the year. The 2017 team advanced to the WIAA 4A State Tournament quarterfinals.
