Boys Cross Country
Voluntary summer workouts will take place throughout the summer and are tentatively scheduled to begin June 25. Please read here for a welcome letter and summer running suggestions for head coaches Mark Davis and Gina Martin. Please contact the coaches directly if interested in participating.
Tentative summer running schedule (subject to change):
Mondays: 8:30am, Cedar River (1717 SE Maple Valley Hwy, Renton, WA 98057; meet in grass above the little beach, north side of river)
Tuesdays: 10:00am, Kennedy Catholic (Intervals and strength)
Wednesdays: 8:30am, Seward Park (5900 Lake Washington Blvd S, Seattle, WA 98118; meet in grass near swimming area)
Thursdays: 10:00am, Kennedy Catholic (Tempo and strength)
Fridays: 8:30am, Alki (5817 SW Lander St, Seattle, WA 98116; meet at Whale Tail Park)

The first official day of 2018 fall sports for cross country is Monday, August 20. Online registration will open July 30 and is required in advance of the first day of practice. Our cross country program offers varsity and junior varsity level competition and is a no-cut sport. A number of cross country meets and practices occur off campus. Bus transportation is provided and details will be posted here once available
Games schedules will be posted online through NPSLathletics.org. Practice schedules will be released to the team when available.

Mark DavisBoys X-Country Varsity Coach
Mark Davis is entering his 3rd season as the boys cross country coach. Mark has been teaching 9th grade science at Kennedy Catholic since 2013. He has a biology degree from University of Montana and a Master’s Degree in Secondary Education from Eastern Washington University.
Mark competed for four years at University High School in Spokane. He ran varsity for back-to-back state championship teams in 1997 and 1998. Mark coached as a volunteer at Mt. Spokane High School’s cross country program.
