The 2018 team made a spirited run into the 4A State Championships, the third time in four seasons they've reached the highest level, including 2015 when they were crowned State Champions!
The 2019 girls volleyball season begins on August 26, 2019. Online registration is open and is required in order to be able to participate in tryouts. Our volleyball program currently offers three levels of play; varsity, junior varsity, and c-team. Cuts may be made based on the number of interested participants.
2019 Tryout Schedule:
- Monday, August 26: Freshmen only 1-3pm, 10th-12th grades 4:30-6:30pm
- Tuesday, August 27: All grades 3:15-6:00pm
- Wednesday, August 28: All grades 3:15-6:00pm
Following tryouts on Wednesday, all participants will receive information regarding whether they made one of the three teams. The first full practice will be Thursday, August 29.

Liz QuitiquitGirls Varsity Volleyball Coach
Liz began her high school volleyball coaching career in 2004 after playing volleyball for Western Washington University. The head coach at Kennedy Catholic since 2014, the WWU Hall of Famer has also coached two years at Nooksack Valley High School and eight years at Kentridge High School.
In 2015, Liz was at the healm as the Lancer volleyball team won the school’s first ever WIAA 3A state championship. Liz coached the all-state volleyball team this past spring and had the honor of coaching the school’s first Gatorade Player of the Year (Shayne McPherson ‘16).
Within the program, the coaching staff fosters student athletes to be passionate, hardworking servant leaders.
Players learn how to welcome challenges and face them with courage and resolve.
Players learn how to lead, while being collaborative and selfless.
Players maximize their God given talents and help put them in a position to play volleyball at the next level that best suits them.
Although Liz herself is not an alumnae, she married Greg Quitiquit ‘99, a Kennedy Catholic alumnus and member of the 1999 Kennedy Catholic baseball State championship team. Go Lancers!
