Arts
Kennedy Catholic holds a rich and vibrant tradition in fine arts. Our award winning music department is renowned in the state and beyond. We believe that experience in the creative process is essential to all learners. Washington State guidelines require students take a minimum of two years of Art classes as part of graduation requirements. Students participating in Visual and Performing Arts Department courses will develop an understanding of the affective dimension of humankind as expressed in vocal and instrumental music; painting; drawing; photography and other media; and theatre arts. Learning in, about and through the arts develops the capacity to make meaning from experience, to respond to creative expression and dream big.
