NO SCHOOL Friday 20 Jan ...snow!
Here's the plan for now ...but, keep checking back.

FRESHMEN (per1&3)
Alright, now that we have finals next Thursday and Friday, things have changed.  Your final exam will be on Act One AND Act Two of
Romeo and Juliet.   Your memorized
monologue quiz will be by itself on Tuesday 24 Jan.  Study hard!  The Act One section of your Study Guide is due Monday.  We will begin Act Two on Monday in class, so be ready to go!

SOPHOMORES (per2&7)
Ok, now with the next schedule next week, the final exam has changed.  Your Romanticism unit test (and Poetry Elements packet due) is on Tuesday 24 January.  Your in-class essay will be Wednesday 25 Jan (on the thematic connection between your group's song and poem).  Plan accordingly.  Monday in class, we will have study and review time.  Also, we will have a study session after school on Monday (2:45-3:45) and before school on Tuesday (7:30-8:20) for anyone who needs extra help.  We will talk about the final when we get to school Monday.

Email me about any questions you have or help you need.  Study hard!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What you need to know for the unit test: ALL the poems--with a concentration on the poems presented in class, the poets' basic bios, Romanticism notes and themes, everything in the Poetry Elements packets EXCEPT the last page on iambic pentameter and the like.

SENIORS (per6)
Your Church paper is due Monday if you had an extension.   For Tuesday, read and take notes on "Africa for the Africans" by Marcus Garvey--it's in your book.  Also, honors folks, use this time to think about emailing me a pre-proposal for your project.
