After graduating from Blanchet High School, Bob Bourgette coached for one year at Central Washington University where as a player he was an all-conference offensive lineman.

Bob has coached at JFK for the past 37 years.

This is his 15th year as head coach. In the last 14 years, Bob has a league record of 102 wins, 3 losses and 13 Seamount League Championships. Overall, Bob has 133 wins and 23 losses.

He has been named Seamount League Coach of the Year four times and has been selected to coach in the All State Game.
Bob has also been selected as the football representative and is on the executive board for the Washington State Coaches Association. Bob was also a semi-finalist for National High School Football Coach of the Year in 2003. He was selected twice as the Coach of the Week by the Seattle Seahawks.
This past year Bob was selected by King 5 Sports Blitz as the Football Coach of the Past Decade for the state of Wa. Bob was also picked as 2006 Washington State Coach of the Year by the Wa. St. coaches Association and the NFL Seattle Seahawks. This past January Coach Bourgette was inducted in the Wa. State Football Coaches Hall of Fame.
Bob has been married to his wife Margaret for 38 years. They have three children (Bridget, Angie and Bob Jr.), and four grandchildren.
