What Can You Do?
We feel the Kennedy Catholic volleyball program has the potential to be one of the best in the state of Washington. Our players and coaches will put in a tremendous amount of time and effort to improve. This improvement requires a high level of competition. We will compete at a high level against other teams and in our own gym against and with each other. In choosing who makes what team, coaches consider the following factors: attitude, work ethic, volleyball skills, athletic ability and potential to develop into a Varsity player. Out of this list, there is only one factor over which you don’t have any control - athletic ability. You can’t change genetics! However, everything else on this list is something you can work on. How coachable are you? Are you a good teammate? Do you work at your skill level during the off-season? Set a goal for yourself and work at accomplishing it. Play as much volleyball as you can. That is the best way to improve your game. The more “touches” you have with a ball, the better you will become. Contact Information Joanne Uhl – joanneuhl@hotmail.com
